The Grip Truck.

Our 3-Ton Grip Truck is designed to streamline load-outs and load-ins for an efficient workflow on set. The modular layout with customized shelves and mobile carts with all-terrain tires keeps production crews nimble and pain free. The truck can be picked up at our studio or delivered to you on location.

Built for working sets

A rolling department.

We keep our gear clean and organized, and you can tell the moment you open the back of a Thunderstruck truck. It provides plenty of space for grip and lighting packages. Grips and drivers will love the thoughtful conveniences, like easily accessible shelves and speed rail compartments. A compact cab makes it easy to drive and park in urban areas.

This size of truck is perfect for low-budget feature films and TV series, commercials, corporate videos, music videos, reality TV shows, and short films. We can customize a gear package to suit your specific production needs. Add-ons are available including lighting, camera gear, large batteries, generators, tents, director chairs, production supplies, and more.

Built for the job

LED Lighting Inside

Our grip truck box is wired for shore power and equipped with LED lighting throughout the interior of the box. No additional working lights are needed while wrapping on a night shoot. Just plug an extension cord into the outlet on the side of the truck and you're ready to rock.

Built-in Workstation

The truck features a workstation desk for the camera department with 15 electrical outlets and shore power for charging batteries, lights, and other accessories.

Oversized Liftgate

The truck is outfitted with a heavy-duty, 7-foot-long lift gate rated at over 3000 lbs. It makes unloading and loading heavy gear and carts at the location stress-free.

Jockey Boxes

Underneath the truck there are jockey boxes to stash sandbags, stingers, and other grip gear that you need quick access to.

    $600per day $1,800per week Weekly rate is a 3-day week — pay for 3 days, keep it for a week.

    Mileage, fuel, delivery fees, and any expendables used during your production will be charged separately.
