Sandbags are the cheapest insurance on any call sheet. This package mixes weights to match the job: 10- and 15-pounders for C-stands carrying flags, 25s for combos under real fixtures, and 35s for high rollers flying 12×12 rags that catch wind like sails. The rule of thumb is one bag minimum per stand, doubled outdoors — and Austin afternoons produce gusts that enforce the rule.

The saddle design drapes over knuckles and leg junctions so the weight loads the stand, not the ground beside it. They double as camera-department utility too — steadying a hi-hat, weighting a slider base, propping a lens case in a moving van. Quote them alongside any stand, frame, or overhead order. The gear they protect costs a lot more than they do.
