The Scrim Jim is the overhead frame for crews without a grip truck. The anodized tubes snap together into an 8×8 or a 4×4 with no tools, no ears, no speed rail — one person can build it in under ten minutes. Fabrics tension onto the frame with touch fasteners, so swapping a diffusion for a bounce takes seconds instead of a re-rig.

At 8×8 it's big enough to soften the sun over a two-shot or turn the Aputure 700x into a genuine soft key; at 4×4 it works handheld as a bounce or flies on a single C-stand arm. The included cine clamps grab any grip head, and the whole system packs into one shoulder bag. Big-frame results, hatchback footprint.
